Internship Lawyer at the Administrative Court of Appeal in Jönköping
The Administrative Court of Appeal in Jönköping is one of four courts of appeal. A general administrative court handles cases that have been appealed from an administrative court. The court processes a very large number of case types. Approximately 4,000 cases are filed annually, primarily concerning disputes between individuals and authorities. The court has about 65 employees and we work in modern premises in central Jönköping.

What the job entails
As a trainee lawyer, you will work in the same way as the court's reporting lawyers and will be placed in one of two departments. You will work closely with experienced lawyers and receive continuous guidance.
The tasks offer great breadth, and you will work with many of the varying case types decided by the general administrative courts, such as driving license cases, cases concerning financial assistance, or social insurance cases. You will also participate in oral hearings.
Your tasks include
- conducting legal investigations in several areas of law
- presenting cases before judges
- writing proposals for judgments and decisions
Requirements
Qualifications
- You have graduated from a law program or business law program with excellent results.
- According to the Act (1971:289) on general administrative courts, a reporting lawyer in the court of appeal must be a Swedish citizen.

You apply via Visma Recruit and attach study certificates and degree certificates as well as grades and copies of any other merits that may be relevant for the position. Instead of a personal letter, you will answer a number of selection questions.
If you have not received your degree certificate at the time of application, you can supplement it, but no later than one month after the application deadline. The degree certificate must be received by the court of appeal before a decision on employment is made.
This recruitment concerns one or more positions. The employment form is a twelve-month fixed-term employment according to section 5 of the Employment Protection Act (LAS). We strive for a balanced gender distribution. Psychological tests are included in the selection process. In accordance with the court's employment procedures, background checks will be conducted in the event of a potential employment.
